Oh, I can beat even that one, Pete! The very first time I chained was between Fort Worth and Austin during one of those epic Texas ice storms. I-35 was closed, so I hit the backroads to the west, as I wasn't about to sit the weekend in Austin if I missed my delivery appointment at the prison. Took all dang night, but I got there!
