CHAINING...are you ready?

My favorite time of year. Not even kidding. I run west. And this is when the real truck drivers come out to play. I love throwing chains. Love the challenges. This is when I get to show some of the steering wheel holders up.

 

I am ok until the white volvo's start passing me on Sherman.........sigh

 

Step up and drive an 8 axle out West. You'll think chain up.

 

Give me a minute. I'm planning on it.... Seriously.

Oh, Mt. Evans Rd. was closed today, 2"+ of snow at the summit, with more predicted tonight

 

Dang it! I left my chaining clothes at home. Guess my flip flops and nitrile gloves will have to do.

 

Cam locks & Ice breakers w/ rear end lockers. Come on out Winter is just around the corner. It'll be fun. If you want to really go trucking get a log truck job in Western Washington. I'll hook you up. 👌

 

Oh, I can beat even that one, Pete! The very first time I chained was between Fort Worth and Austin during one of those epic Texas ice storms. I-35 was closed, so I hit the backroads to the west, as I wasn't about to sit the weekend in Austin if I missed my delivery appointment at the prison. Took all dang night, but I got there!
