I'm about to admit it here and now - I'm old and worn out - I'm on the verge of buying a Volvo 670 and I'm pretty sure I'm not leaving the yard with it unless it has 'On Spots' for chains. I've wrapped enuf wheels.otherhalftw and Hammer166 Thank this. -

Go back to last years posts....these were discussed at the beginning of last season. Good guess on how many posts back they are though! If I remember right....CO allows them.

Didn't see the discussion .. I did see them for sale recentlt at a petro/ta in Missouri

Co. allows them, the largest company I am aware of that uses them is Western Dist. and Trans. in Denver. They are fine if the road is snowpacked/icy the entire way, however, if you encounter bare patches, reduce speed to under 5 mph to avoid tearing them. Per recommendation of a Western Driver.
