Bossman said if I ask nicely I might get new chains this year, not sure why, only used my current set once since they gave me the truck in Feb. I have two sets of these new chains that are made in Colo., supposedly specific for the state, heavier duty than normal, but not the Pewag's that I really want.

Colorado's legislature missed a chance this past session to really sock it to the ski areas. They were going to rewrite the chain law again, but now it would be a requirement for passenger vehicles over a certain size, similar to what Washington and Utah have. But, alas, they failed, it was kind of funny thought, the Gov. actually supported the measure, but not until it was pointed out to him that this is the way it works in Europe.
