chains were up from sacramento to reno last week.
i got half way up donners before chaining, ground was dry, caltrans said i had 10 miles to go. i told him i'd do where it's not snowing and i can stay dry. by the time i was chained, there was 2 inches on the ground.

OK...just like the change to allow Modified Max (single chains outside tires drives), the handout card doesn't reflect that as well. I will get the link or quote for everyone.

Amen. I've used 3 railers and they are a PITA to install without taking the time to drop your trailer, and never seem to get as snug as singles. I carry 8 singles if I'm going through Oregon, as you need 2 spares. Otherwise 6 singles.joseph1135, otherhalftw and truckthatpassesyouby Thank this.
