Steve Buscemi humor is always a good thing.

 

Wolf Creek Ski area officially opens Saturday with a 20" base, Silverton, Arapahoe Basin and Loveland all open in the next 7 to 10 days

 

I told my wife if I don’t have a preplan by the time I leave tomorrow I’m just going to stop at Vail and snowboard for the day. That went over really well. LOL

 

The real funny thing is, I don't think Buscemi got the joke.

 

I just took an hour and dug out my chains and inspected them all. Then I decided to practice a little and hung a full set of iron on my drives, Took about 15 mins. I always like to do a "dry run" so to speak before I need to chain up for real.

 

You'll be snowboarding on dirt and rocks, only real high up on Vail is there any snow that will work, even then it's only a few inches

 

It was just a joke. Besides. I rather sit in the bar looking at girls I can’t afford, having drinks I don’t want because I have to drive, while their men look at my truck and wish they could do what I do...

 

I always remember Comedian Jim Norton's line about calling an escort in Aspen:

If I only had chains.

 

Chained up Friday morning for the first time this year, 25 ish minutes to put on 4 singles. Coworker in the same time managed to get his 4 singles unhung, laid out on the ground, and was standing there staring at them when I walked up. I said, you only get 30 minutes, he said I need an hour. As I pointed out to my boss, we will be having a chain up class in the very near future, or I will be beating someone with a 2x4.
