Some of you drivers brag about "chaining up" or "throwing iron" as if you base your entire manhood on it. LOL! Sheeese!
mustang970 Thanks this. -
I chain my wallet to my belt, that's it. If you have extra big ones, iron up and play 40 Ton snow mobile.
I don't need a dollar that bad. Seasoned drivers can tell winter is coming on because CF & Yellow is in the ditch. I don't care how good you think you are, No one can control a truck on ice. Chains get you to a safe place to stop. Fools & TV shows push farther.Last edited: Aug 1, 2013

and while your waiting on the snow and ice to melt, I've driven to my customer, delivered the load, made it back, collected my paycheck, made it home, all while using cautious driving habits
In my case, there's a reason why I'm the senior driver and why when my boss hands me a load to pickup or deliver, he knows it'll happen. The only thing that stops me: Closed road, breakdown or conditions too extreme for me (and I'm the one who makes that call)otherhalftw, CenutryClass, Licensed to kill and 4 others Thank this. -
