As for Autosocks, Western Dist. gives them to their drivers as an option, ran with one of their female drivers a few years back that had them on. As she put it, they are definetly easier to install, but, you can't run them at all on dry, they will tear fast. Running on wet, you need to be going slower than with chains, snow/ice they work great, but you do have to slow a little more than you would with chains as the heat will make them tear.DoneYourWay Thanks this. -

Labor Day weekend I'll be getting the car and pickup ready for winter, boss will get the semi ready (new steers, drives, chains, bungies and PM) on or about Sept. 20th.
