I wouldn't call you sick, Ron. It isn't nice to make fun of the handicapped. . .:biggrin_25522:

I'm much more of a hot weather fan myself. But it really doesn't matter. I bellyache if it's hot, or cold, or snowing, or raining, or the wind is blowing. . .:biggrin_25513:

Isn't tormenting aquatic mammals and super truckers compensating for something tiny the primary focus of TTR? both categories would appear to be handicapped and codependent...

Since it ain't snowin yet gotta mix this in here. I have a question for the couple of "Cali's" on heah..Not once in awhile, not sometimes, but EVERY single time I come in here from Vega$ on 15 at the agricultural check point before Barstow-they take my BOL and do SOMETHING with it..

I asked them today "what" and apparently it's a big secret.:biggrin_25511: Is that their way of "clocking me in" or what??

Depends on what you have...I usually have "MT Cans" and tell them they're empty...No BL needed...

Now...One time I brought back beams from Craig, CO and had a nice long stay at Donner courtesy of the Bug Station.....:biggrin_25510:

The bug check in truckee,CA in the same way..Seeds, agricultural crap and household goods must be declared.
There is one particular female inspector with a long pony tail that has a hard on I think for con-way..Gives all of our drivers a hard time up there.

Most of the time, if they take the BOL's inside and check a "roster sheet", that is a product (seeds, trees, plants, hay, alfalfa, tomatoes and the like) that has been "pre-screened/inspected" by the local Ag Dept and the inspection form has already been faxed or e-mailed to the crossing facility. Just like loads crossing into/from Canada or Mexico. If you are flatbed, the point of origin is checked for any agriculture pests that could have made a little nest in what you are carrying...again they have warning notices from most every agriculture department across the country. This same issue is why all boats are being inspected for bugs/pests...so they can be "caught" before being introduced into a lake or river from a different location.
