Bet I'd bellyache even more about all those never existed "relatives" that would suddenly show up. . .:biggrin_25511:
Does it come back to you the same color as when it went in? And with the same odor?:biggrin_2551:

CSP was setup EB I-70 at the 179 lower chain up area, doing chain inspections, handing out brochures, and making sure the anti-chainers know the rules. Not playing games this year, if you try to wait out the storm in a chain-up area, after 24 hrs you'll be ticketed and/or towed at your expense.

As they should! They are impeding those of us trying to run. I dealt with that last year on Donner. Covenant refused to chain up. Don't know why the hell he didnt stay in Nevada.

After they moved the bug station back to the scale location and paved over where the scale house was...they got really lenient on letting the trucks sit in Truckee and wait out the storm. It also has a little to do with an overflow of trucks in Sparks since Boomtown has very limited truck space now.

nope, they'll just tow them past the chain restricted areas (back the other way) at their expense (or impound the truck) and give them a swift kick

    Joe...Donner is a joke.....

There are worse conditions on 70...US 6 and US 40 than on Donner....But that first snowflake that hits ribbon....You'd think Donner was the "Ice Road"......:biggrin_25526:

Big Don and otherhalftw Thank this.
