Chains.... how many seasons do they last?

Problem is with singles, as soon as you dig those singles down in ice or snowpack and the inside tires start making all the contact, you’re done. 3 railers for the win. My job requires me to make my own judgement calls and chain if I need to. I don’t have a problem chaining. But I’ve also done it for years.
