I bought some from the Kenworth dealer in Jonesboro, Ar. They had the best prices I found in my general area. Got a headache rack there as well. They are a part of the MHC Kenworth network.
I didn't see where you are located. They may not be near you.

I've used US Cargo Control and JJ Keller as well as the local Freightliner dealer for cargo securement stuff as well but the Kenworth dealer had their prices beat.

Check the local trailer dealers for straps, chains and binders.

I have picked up a lot of stuff from utility dealers, for some reason they have good prices.

I usually buy all my straps from Freightliner while out on the road. They have 2" ratchets with 30' strap for $12. 4" 30' straps for $10. When ever I run low,.. I stop in and stock up.

Tarps I buy locally from Tampa Tarps. They have the dual grade 18 gauge top with 14 gauge sides,.. 26' with 8' drop or 4' drop,. both with flaps.4 rows of D rings. I also buy my bungee from them as well. Box of 50 with the curled ring near the bungee so they dont rub and tear into the tarp while blowing around,.. $26. Local to me,.. so I dont have to worry about shipping charges.

IIRC,.. the lumber tarps were $400 each,.. the steel tarps were $275. I've had mine for almost a year now. I dont do very many tarp loads,.. maybe 25 - 30 a year. They have held up well.

Binders and chains,.. I source them from Craigslist. Last time home I bought 10 of the smaller snap binder for $25. I bought 4 grade 70, 30' 3/8 chains for $40 from the same guy. Bucket, some diesel fuel, wire brush, elbow grease, soap and water, rustolium red and they look as good as new. The binders,.. not the chains. Spent $600 at keen for their heavy ratchet binders. I user them for some of the heavier machines. Mainly just use the snap binders for skid steers and similar sized loads.

    This,..

Also check tractor dealers. John Deer, Kubota,.. etc. They almost always have very reasonable priced straps. Do not bother with Northern Tools or Harbor freight. All they carry is cheap Chinese junk. Unless you know specifically what you are looking for, do not bother with them.

Do not buy Chinese bungee,.. I made this mistake. They do not last,. and they do not stretch as good as the made in USA bungee. They will get brittle and hard inside of 6 months,.. and unless you want to lose an eye (I had one sting me in the face after it broke and almost got my eye) do not buy them.

Just one man's opinion, but I personally think snap binders are to be avoided. I just don't see any good reason to use one of those in place of a ratchet.

I thought so too until I started using them. With ratchets I would have to retighten more then snaps. With the snaps more often then not after the first load check they stay tight depending on the load.

I like them because they are quicker to use and in tight areas where its difficut to ratchet the other binder.. it makes sense.

But I do agree with you in regards to safety. A snap bind can come open if left alone. I use bungee around the handle of any snap binder I use. I have never had one come open after I started doing this.

if your getting bungees for $.51 a peice your doing #### good.

around here. a box of 50 costs about $75 i think it was last time i picked some up.

i'll buy them chinese tarps from harbor freight. they come in real handy when you need that extra layer of plastic under your tarps. specially if you've just been driving in the rain. or snow.

21 inch.. made in USA with the hook on the bungee closed so it doesnt poke holes. And yeah.. he told me the price.. I bought 4 boxes.

Harborfreight has those 8x8 cargo blankets for $10. I bought 4 of those last I was in there. I use them for padding under my tarps.
