“If” your truck has it, the gauge would be in the dash, just as mine and many others are.

It will show you the restriction of the filter(s). You possibly could be getting more life out of each filter which would be a savings….

It's ALWAYS a mess,,,then what to do with that drum of used oil that weighs a ton, landfills won't take used oil jugs and filters are considered hazardous waste. I always changed my own oil, but today, I'd probably just let a REPUTABLE shop do it, and I'll take the kids to the beach,,,

there’s always someone local with a waste oil burner, we trade it off for
A case of beer just to get rid of it

Yey, have none, that's why have no idea)

PS: savings? What savings? Savings are makings, not stingings on what makes makings)

There are things I do not consider savings, at all. Put a full face gas respirator and try to run with it.. with a dirty canister one)

I kinda like my twin filters,(twice the filtering & less restrictions. And really like the factory installed gauge that tells me what I can’t see, and I’m very anal about my filters. Only in a pinch will I ever use anything other than factory installed filters. If they honored a warranty with the filters, they must be a decent filter….

I agree that big jug is nice to use! Easy to roll around and if you have to the handles are nice to hoist up onto a drain bin or wherever. The DeWalt greaser is awesome as well. Definitely always a disaster for me too, that used oil is the devil.

If anyone is in need of oil, I use Schaeffer and their availability is still good so far. I ordered a 55 gallon drum last Friday and it shipped (free) today. Not promoting them - just saying if you’re desperate and looking I am getting mine quickly and without the hassle of driving around to places looking to piece together enough oil.

$100 is still $100. As long as its not costing downtime. For years I paid to have mine changed. It was worth an hour Labor charge. Now it’s worth an hour of my time.
