    Ha! I forgot seat belts, when i was a kid, we would drive from mn to the west side of Montana to my uncles. I would sleep on the back deck of my dads 65 impala. And i didnt die!

    And riding in the open back of a pickup truck? Lots of fun. Watching those big, wonderful, noisy fire engines go screaming down the road with two or three real firemen riding on the back, nothing to keep 'em from falling off, except their hanging on!
