checked my logs for the day via email request. the text version matches with the graph version on the qcomm and the email. Did not log driving pulling out of the dock ( this was approx 100 ft of forward movement, then sliding tandems) , simply back timed to when I actually left after hitting the threshold.
Changes to QC logging parameters

If you consistently make SNI money and nobody complains about you...lol
Why shoot the guy doing a good job? Let it slide.
There's plenty of other drivers that need to be shot... As evidenced by our occasionally popular, "calling out the colostomy bags" thread.

Prime's Qualcomm system received these changes several weeks ago, with no notifications given.
Kinda figured it was what happened, but got confirmation after calling logs about it. Student I had took off with 29min on 30 min break at nearly 8hrs on 11. Ran about 5-6 miles down road showing 3hrs received back, but then rolled him back to drive line from start of wheels turning with only 29min in. 3hrs goes POOF. Talk about pissed! LOL
Least you guys got a heads up.
tucker, Home_on_wheels, redoctober83 and 1 other person Thank this. -
was on hold with VTL support(####ing ####!!!!) , one part of the looped message was about the changes. something really stuck out , "threshold must be met for it to change"
So without saying so directly, what I took from that was to shut the truck offf where you can at a shipper. ECM and Qcomm correctly get and note the info the truck is shut down. Cant be on line 3 with a truck thats not running , now can you.Vilhiem and gentleroger Thank this. -
Started up tractor this am, drove 100 ft to fuel island while off duty, changed to on duty remarks of pre-trip and fueling. This is my usual when I fuel...no drive time shown on my graph.
Drop ta in yard while logged on duty post trip; after 5 change to off duty. After doing all my work flow drove in 4th to other side of yard (100m) parked and turned off. No drive time logged.
Appears that the only real change is the threshold is tighten and errors are quickly posted.
No more leaving Fontana off duty and crossing the street to get coffee before turning on the 14hr clock. No more sneaking all the way to Hm Despot before going on duty. No more hitting off duty on the 210 when crawling and watching time slip away...Vilhiem, rickybobby and gentleroger Thank this. -
It completely ####ed me over today and caused me to go over my 8 hour clock by over 20 minutes! Dropped a loaded trailer at a Home Depot in Tracy CA. Logged 5 minutes on duty for a post trip when I arrived at the gate since I was bobtailing out. I had to take a 30 minute break so I parked the truck after dropping the trailer and waited. At 29 minutes of off duty I had 00:00 left on my clock and drive to the gate and waited in line to check out. Finally checked out and was well over my 30 minute break when I left and had 03:30 left to drive. A mile down the road while I was merging onto the interstate it automatically reverted back 12 minutes to when I first released my brakes at the home depot and put me 12 minutes over my 8 hour clock. I ended up shaving a minute off my post trip when I dropped the trailer to show a full 30 minute break but I'm sure it still tells SNI that I had a log violation.
Pork Chop Express Thanks this. -
It didnt do that to you. YOU did that too you. They have been quite clear about making sure you have taken your full break before moving. Did you think they were kidding?

Still complete bull #### and I completely blame the bull #### update. Doesn't bother me as I was able to edit it to a full 30 minute break. The fact that it forced me to log about 10 minutes of drive time while sitting on private property waiting to check out is what pisses me off.Pork Chop Express Thanks this.

How are yall able to edit. I can't edit anything..I think..

It's a special skill given only to long time forum members.

If you're posting via mobile, I can help. But by computer, I'm unsure. I don't post via computer often.
