    Thanks for the welcome,

My husband and I have been discussing his interest in the trucking industry. He has a squeaky clean driving record and in good health. However, he has a misdemeanor charge against him, which he is currently trying to have expunged. This charge isn't driving related. He has worked for a company for the last 15 years which involves driving a van locally and is still employed with this company.

This misdemeanor charge has us both wondering if this will prevent him from becoming employable through a sponsored trucking company. He wanted to apply for training within the next few weeks. What do you think?

    Wannabe driver wifey,

A misdemeanor is nothing; many companies hire with multiple felonies.
What state do you live in and we can make some recommendations.

We travel between TN and GA, but are only seeking company sponsored training. Thanks for your help.
