    10-4 on that brsims,
If a man can't make 200+ a day minimum in trucking it is time to hang it up!

    Brandonpdx and Flybynight041 Thank this.

I believe they told me I could choose between a Pete or KW....will have to look them over Monday.

Pete 386 or KW T-660 I think is what they have.

Actually, I only pull down $178.50 per day on average. But that's plenty for me in supporting my lavish (ha ha ha) lifestyle. Bills are all paid on time or early, I've always got cash in my pocket and money in my road account, and the savings account gets fed regularly. Could I use more? Sure! Who couldn't? But I'm happy right were I'm at, and that counts for a lot to me.

Always! Happiness is more important than high mileage runs and staring out the windshield at some truckstop every weekend.

So sorry to hear of your bad situation. One of the benefits of working for a larger carrier is financial stability. I hope you find one. You're certainly experienced enough.

I really appreciate that! So far I can't find anything bad about them.
So going in with a good attitude anyway!

If I only worked 40 hours a week, I would gross $1250 a week, which is a average of $250 a day for only 8 hours of work.

Overtime pays time and a half after 8 hours a day, and/or 40 hours a week, double time after 10 hours a day and/or 48 hours a week. If you run your 70's out, it wouldn't be hard to double that number.

My job isn't the highest paying LTL, either. There are companies out there that pay more than that.
