aint that the truth. UPS needs to some different colors. that brown and gold is god awful. I see their drivers all the time and it makes me think of a turd all dressed up and purty. no thanks. I aint no circus monkey. Just want to drive the truck! forget the uniform. i'd probably be fine with a polo and blue jeans. but that turd brown uniform? oh hell no.

Man.....I thought this was a thread about a new job! Sorry to get a pissing match going.
Anyway,Lighten up guys,we should all look out for each other to some extent like we did back 20 to 30 years ago!
I guess I'm just old school and care about fellow drivers and appreciate all the wisdom they have given me over the years.
Also i am glad to pass along things I have learned.
Truck safe guys!
I'm the type of driver who sees a wrecked truck and say a prayer for the driver. I have stopped and pulled drivers from wreckage and saved a life one time.
I still get Christmas cards from that driver each year.
We are all a special breed but like different aspects of trucking and different types of jobs! 10-4? -
Eh, I was out of line with my response to trkdrvr. I apologize.
DenaliDad Thanks this. -
I agree with Big Don, I liked uniforms, as I'm not a fan of doing laundry (especially at a laundromat, one of the most depressing places on earth) and trucking can be a dirty job. EZ, don't let these people get under your skin, you sound like a great person. I wish you the best of luck.

Well mine of course, I have a volcano that shoots red hot lava and spews ash and for good measure, I have a virgin ready to be sacrificed,
after I personally get into that!Mudguppy Thanks this. -

I bought it from the Peterbilt dealer and got a heck of a deal...500 out the door for leather!
Online it was in the 600 to 800 range.
It actually rides better than the series 80 Elite seat I used to have that was over 800 bucks. -
Hi EZ, great to hear. I wish you the best of luck. The best thing about moving out of an old truck, is you are going to some place better.
EZ Money Thanks this.
