Sorry "cat from the valley" I can't send PM's. I just tried it a couple different times checking different boxes and it seems to have worked. I don't have the adapter yet to see if the program will actually connect to a truck but it doesn't inform me it's not activated anymore.

Anyone got any good cheap places to buy a communication adapter. Ebay is the only place I've found so far.

I got it to work and have been playing with it in training mode. When you go to
change FLS, and FTS is says that Cat maintains a permanet fuel record of settings
by engine serial number or something to that effect.

Which version of windows are you trying to install it on, ET2008 may only work on XP and Vista?

There is a guy in Effingham,Il that can change your FLS/FTS for a small fee. He has a factory code to get inside the ECM to change anything you want. I had him change my FLS/FTS to a heavy haul setting and my truck pulled like ten men but my fuel economy dropped six tenth of a mile to the gallon. I had him change the settings back to factory (remember to write the factory settings down first) as I would rather get 7 mpg and still pull good than 6.4 and pass every truck on the Grapevine with 43,000 in the box.

I have unlimited access to change anything requiring factory passwords and ET with permenant factory license. If you are interested let me know. You would still need to get yourself a comm link. I used the Nexiq which runs about $700.00
