you have to take off door panel once you do quiet easy to replace just got

Yes I tried this but eventually the key didn't work because the locks were probably switched out before.So I purchased a new set of door locks and ignition key tumbler but was wondering how to remove the tumbler without having the actual key ...Thanks for the info...

How you took out the ignition switch without the key? I have exactly same trouble.

I have 05 freightliner have same issue, can't get cylinder to pop out, you say insert paper clip in hole will key is off position and turn to accessorie position ? Do I have to push key in while doing it ?

On couldn't do it on mine. I bought a new cylinder and a new harness. The harness the the cylinder plugs into was only about $25
