    As far as I know, all 13 speed Eatons are double overdrive....that is to say, the top two gears are overdrive. You can also figure it out with a accurate speedometer and your tach but you need to know your rear axle ratio and tire diameter.

    You’ll have to get the number off the side of the transmission. Most all 13’s are double over drive, from my understanding a single od is pretty rare.

    RT=no overdrive
    RTO= single overdrive
    RTLO= double overdrive
    If your transmission model # starts with RTLO, it’s double overdrive.

    Most 13 speeds made in the last 25 years are RTLO

    Wrong. Both double over.
    The A just has a different gear set.
