how do i know if my 13 spd is a double OD?rank Thanks this. -
As far as I know, all 13 speed Eatons are double overdrive....that is to say, the top two gears are overdrive. You can also figure it out with a accurate speedometer and your tach but you need to know your rear axle ratio and tire diameter.Oxbow Thanks this.

You’ll have to get the number off the side of the transmission. Most all 13’s are double over drive, from my understanding a single od is pretty rare.

RT=no overdrive
RTO= single overdrive
RTLO= double overdrive
If your transmission model # starts with RTLO, it’s double overdrive.Tug Toy, swaan, rank and 1 other person Thank this. -
Most 13 speeds made in the last 25 years are RTLO

It all depends how truck was ordered.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
