    NOOOOOO!

Never needs to get greased! Simple solution is to put a plastic bag over the pin then slap the lock on. Never touches the grease. Stays nice and clean.

That's what I do. I've got a nice pair of gloves for when that isn't an option but the rare few times I've used my kingpin I always stick a bag over the pin first.

Just goes back to what we are taught in high school... Always use a condom.

I've only seen them once but the enforcer has a carry case that's sold. It's just molded plastic I think.

You get a case if you be the enforcer security package that includes kingpin lock, padlock, and air cuff locks. $300+

LS did the same thing in orientation. Gave us a kingpin and padlock combo with the curved warded lock. Then took the money out of first settlement. No biggie. They aren't expensive.

I don't remember what LS charged me for mine. I got the case, king pin lock, air valve lock for cab, and 2 padlocks. Nice bit of kit.

Dang, never thought of wrapping up the pin to protect my lock. Poor lock is very dirty now. Freaking village bicycle that lock.

I think eBay has one listed, minus the air locks and/or padlocks, for a third of the price.

Correction: no longer appears to be listed.

It'd be nice to have, but it's a hunk of aluminum. They keys are the only thing that might cause issue.

Yeah, that's the kit I got. I can't remember what I paid. LS had a pile of them.

Yep, that was a tip from my trainer. A handy one at that considering I keep the plastic bags I get when I do a personal supplies run.
