I am a big fan of the Bond, except for one mistake of a movie, "On her majesty's secret service".

a deplorable Bond and story line if ever there was. not too mention, I do believe it was a much longer Bond movie as well.

I agree. I also didn't care too much for Never Say Never Again when Connery made a 1 movie comeback.

I was being sarcastic, no worries.

Oh, and your link? Yeah...that's on the net. Soo... :p

Thought the shape of the key was funny... I imagine that helps with the number of key combinations.

Ive seen several oufits charge for bobtail insurance, always thought that was a fair deal. If they are paying bobtail insurance and you are paying 85.00 once then I dont see anything unfair about that.

Hold The Clock!! We need to complain about having to pay for health insurance, that costs more than a lock that I can keep forever, and ever

Health insurance isn't equipment necessary for you to do your job. It also isn't something a company ought to be responsible for providing. As long as you allow somebody else to pay for your policy, they get to choose what they are paying for...which may or may not be the best insurance option FOR YOU! Only YOU know your individual situation, which coverages are necessary, which exclusions are acceptable, and which coverages are a total waste of money purchasing. Somebody else will select the policy that works best for THEIR bottom line...YOU, on the other hand, are more apt to buy the policy that works best for YOUR health.

I've never once heard of a company making their company driver's pay bobtail insurance on the company's trucks. If a company DID make such a request, I'd be out the door. If you own the truck, or were fleeced into a L/P contract, then sure...you're paying the operating expenses of the truck. Employee drivers, on the other hand, don't pay for anything like that out of their wages. If it is needed for the job, company should pay.

If the company wants you to lock up THEIR equipment when you leave it unattended, then THEY need to provide you with the first lock. If you lose that lock, they can charge for the replacement...but you should NEVER receive a bill from a company during orientation.

I had a kingpin lock that I bought myself for about $25, but I threw it away when it kept getting grease on everything in my sidebox. I'd recommend a gladhand lock. It's just a deterrent , nothing will stop a thief who wants an unattended trailer. Keep hooked to the tractor and you make the thieves job much more difficult.

Maybe putting it in a big ziplock baggie would have prevented all the grease getting everywhere
