I also found out that they don't give out codes. INSTEAD. I wait for 24-48 hours. Going on 96 now. Waiting for a phone I DO own outright to be unlocked. Over the airwaves. It's not the greatest phone. It sucked on both verizon and sprint. But i own it. Might give me a chance to check out ATT if it'll work. I have no idea how they can do it over the airwaves though as it's not active.

 

There are other ways to unlock a cell phone if the carrier won’t give you the unlock code.
Run a google search and you will find options.

 

A lot of guys will disagree and thats ok. But I've switched to Cricket. I am OTR and it works better and in more places than my Verizon service did. And its less than a third the price of verizon. They do take unlocked phones from other carriers.
