I pull open deck. I specialize in machinery and equipment. But lately shingles and steel have been off the chart. That and the windfarms are kicking it in high gear,.. so a lot of crane moves have been done in the mix as well.

Gotchya. Specialized guys are doing ok then. Ibheard the same story with contaminated soil. Used to be that in nj you could haul superfund soil for $60 a ton. Fast forward 5 years and now the going rate is $30 a ton.

Shingles and steel are a commodity,.. nothing special about it. Any joker with a deck and insurance can grab a load.

Of course not but the culture and mentality follow them here. If im used to eating rotten food from a dump in my country of origin, of course anything that America offers me is gold. Even if it means I get paid scraps. All the while the owners laugh all the way to the bank.

The key to staying profitable in this business is the ability to adapt and find more efficient ways to do things. Nothing stays the same. When the train runs out of tracks,.. your gong to need to find another train. Expecting to ride he same train for 10 years is unrealistic.

For me its a never ending cycle of phone calls, exploring new avenues for revenue.

You get this from truck stop counters,.. Natgeo channel or what?

Been biting my tongue,.. but #### it,.. gonna say it. You come across like a racist piss ant, crying about what you think should be your rightful dues. You sir need to find a more ethical way to express yourself. I find you repulsive and offensive.

    Good bye.

Uh oh struck a nerve. My question is about cheap freight and the reasons for it.

Youre exception does not make the rule. If theres 100k guys out there with their own rigs, and 60% have been seeing cheaper rates, the answer isnt to go tell em to piss in the wind.

Your attitude sucks frankly. As long as you got yours who cares, right? Thats the same attitude as the shot callers who gleefully want the cheap labor to INCREASE their profit margins.
