My company has around 40-45 trucks (both company & O/O) we use NASTC. I believe it's the same pricing whether you have 1 truck or 100. If I were to ever go on my own, I'd be getting a NASTC card myself. Only downside is it's TA/Petro, Ambest, Speedway and independents.

Speaking of fuel I heard on cspan talking about raising fuel and registration to pay for infrastructure on parking.

Fuel books app will tell you the best pump price on your route, very handy if you don't get any discounts and it will calculate out the ifta if you need it to

Yup they made it so it's better to wait till you get to Illinois, who has been ridiculously high for 20 years.

    ChicagoJohn and HalpinUout Thank this.

Anyone not getting discounts is either a moron or lazy. That also goes for those paying retail prices on tires.

$2.64 at the Love's at the top of the hill west of Albuquerque about 2 weeks ago. $$2.55 at the Petro in San Antonio last week.

As a rule Petro's or TA's unless the difference is at least $0.10.

One reason is the fuel is already treated with additives, and now winterized. You need the additives big chains use or you'll fry your pump and cylinder heads.
Second is the fuel is always new.
Third is the showers and perks.

Still have yet to pay for parking.

I have a fleet one card and I save 12 cents off cash price but seems the big chains are still higher after the discount than the smaller stops. I do have a kangaroo near by that card works on but no discount. Is still cheaper than pilot with the 12 cents. I just got set up for fuelman and going to try them and see.
