I have a 2006 volvo 780 automatic. The message board says check engine ecu. The truck will not start. 30 amp fuse on battery is blown. A new one is blown too.
Any clues guys?

disconnect small (front) engine ecm connector. If fuse blows - rewire engine ECM power supply. If not and blows when you connect ECM power supply connector - engine ECM is damaged with overvoltage ore wrong polarity. I used to repare faulty ECMs with this kind of damage

Ouh.... is it ISX - if yes - follow the previous message, if Volvo D13 - some other issues with internal ECM damage

Had the same problem....check wires from where they attach to battery. Mine had a kink in wire, yours might too. If fuse is blowing, your shorting out somewhere in that wire that leads from battery to ecm
