Relax I'm only joking with you, and I'm also telling you what the shops you may have called are thinking. Oh and btw the Weegee board said to call the Psychic hotline.
This guy had the same issue. http://www.justanswer.com/heavy-equ...ode-55-flashing-c-15-cat-engine-not-know.html
Aw the magic 8 ball I never would have thought of that. See that's why you always consult the more experienced drivers for the answer. And after the weegee board didn't work I was going to pull this monopoly game piece off my McDonald's large fry, and see if the answer was on the back.
Ha ha ha....I just wondered if there was something obvious I was maybe missing that someone may suggest checking after oil & coolant....sorry I asked
I have had check engine light on before, with flash code 55. 55 means all is good, I pulled over turned it off and restarted it and the check engine light went out. I have a 2006 KW with a c15 cat as well.
Good to know about the code thanks. I've turned it off but the light still comes back. When I have time tomoro I might try disconnecting the battery. The light hasn't affected it's drive tho so all good
I have a 2002 freightliner detroit 60 series check engine light comes on when pressing the accelerator in 10th gear going down the highway when I let off it goes away what can this be?
How are you determining it a code 55? On that kw ,cut the cruise off, then hold down set or resume button and then count the flashes, 2 sets , odds are it will be a 9 followed by 2, 3,4, or 5
