I would say that you should change the oil sensor. My theory is that the oil shifting in the pan causes a slight pressure change and kicking off the bad sensor. That will cause the computer to shut down the engine.
Freightliner-2013 Thanks this. -
It can be simple o-rings on the tubes from the oil pick up to the oil pump.
QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -
I got the act problem and its crazy.
Only people to touch it where DC Freightliner, doing a Clutch after Accident putting in an XY Shifter.
I had then change Seal Between the Engine & Trans.
Also they Plug a Leak Where A PTO used to be.
I had the Shutdown #### happen one time 8m ago.
Now it say oil is low by A Red Light a Noise.
I you ignore by not pushing the Pedel, a Check Engine Light and Shutdown light come on.
But if move a foot or two, or put it in Neutrel and hit the pedel its good after it hit 50.
Got an Automatic too, Repair Are Crazy High.
Also After they put in NewbXY Shift Accidently because the computer said so, it locks up in traffic 4-1.
You can put it in N, then it reset to 1.
Still Stuck.
I turn the power of with a Swith it work perfect again.
Freightliner Refusing to Pull it out say the gave it to me.
Lol

O Rings pulled out where fine,a little hard. Also Replaced Oil Sesor.
Only thing I didnt check was The ByPass Valve on the top of the Oil Filter.
