Driver of first truck inexperienced. You see the guide run to front waving to go forward at one point using both hands showing him to go forward or release brakes so it has a chance to straighten out while rear truck uses brake.

At least it looked like no one got hurt physically just their pay checks, egoes and equipment.

Could of been worse and went down more to the right.

no. the hand guy was waving to stop. and you can hear him.

and if you noticed. the front truck tires were locked up. all the way down. and you could hear him stab his brakes towards the end. but it looked to me like the second truck wasn't even hooked up. till it's time to pull the trailer back out. but if the front truck was locked up and slid down the hill. what makes them think the second truck pulling is going to have any traction.

and yeah. don't those trailers have brakes too. defenitly has enough axles.

Gravel. Steep grade. Heavy trailer. Light tractor (when compared to the trailer). Recipe for a slide. Who was controlling the trailer? Do they have brakes? And the 2nd truck...am I missing something? It doesnt look as if he is connected, so why did he jump out of the truck?

The "trailer" is a Goldhoffer, and yes it has very serious brakes on every axle. I've held 700K pounds on steeper grades than that with a 4 deck Goldhoffer, they should have been able to hold all of that and then some with just the Goldhoffer. No weight on the "braking truck" no coms between the ground and rear, a chain holding the brake truck to the load instead of the tow bar... I could go on and on.
These guys were asking for trouble.

Ya, they may be Muppet's. But at least they did not cause a bridge collapse like those crazy canucks did on I-5

    Watch that video again.

That wave means to go or roll not stop. Wouldn't make any sence for him to stop. Truck stops and trailer is pushing = jack knife.

What language is he saying stop? Is sure isn't English.

Front wheels where rolling the whole time the drives where locked up.

Second truck was hooked up, why do you think it pulled it down. He jumped out cause he thought it was going all the way down the right. Luckily it stopped on the first drop.

That crew just had it all wrong. Wasnt gonna end well they must of just been going on luck.
