Checking 2290

    Hi all I was trying to find out if there is or if I am able to find out if the 2290 has been paid by previous owner? I have just bought the truck and the previous owner says they were payed but cant find the reciept. can I go online and find out or what is the best way? thanks for the info in advance.

    I need to get a copy for the company I am going to lease to. I am not sure if I can go online and get a copy or not.

    You may be able to find out at the IRP office in your state as the IRS forward this info to them. All that probably would be needed is the VIN #

    I would say if it's been paid,it would'nt be lost. It's not like a walmart reciept. It's like 2 sheets of paper. It's important. Like loosing a cab card.
