Sad but true . My back is hurting just thinking about that company but if you're coming off the road ,maybe it'd be worth doing it for a 6 months to a year while applying to other local outfits

Cheney bros isn't quite as back breaking from what I've seen . Then of course the shuttles gig is super easy ; it's just lower pay and mostly night driving (I prefer nights personally)

 

Most of the trailers I've seen have side doors only.....But I've also seen some delivering with lift gates

I guess it really depends on your exact route/customers ..

 

I found my old info/emails . The local delivery pay was $150 per day plus performance . Up to $225 per day with performance X 6 days per week .

 

I hope some one with current info chimes in though because my figures are from 2016

 

Check out Florida Rock and Tank Lines. I've seen their ads before. If memory serves me correctly they have decent paying local work.
