You may have already come across this resource, but if you go to the NY oversize/overweight prescreening tool, you can input the height of your truck and it will populate a map bridge weights and clearances. When you launch the prescreening tool, click on "Enter vehicle info/trip dates" along the top header and enter height (example 13'6") and the pink squares on the map are the clearances that will affect a 13'6" truck.

Also, whenever your routing through chicago is questionable, or better yet during route planning, you can call to talk with a real human truck routing specialist. I do not know if it is 24 hours. If you are delivering late, call before it is last minute.

Save that number in your phone!

Does anyone know if the bridge on Irving Park road that carries 90/94 is really 13'5"? I always wondered about that one. If it really is why would it be on a major road like Irving Park? A state route no less.

Hmmmm. I don't see it listed.... and I do not travel that road.

Eastbound is signed as 13'5" (kind of hard to see in this google map image)

    Westbound is 13'6" EXACTLY!!!! heheheehee

I seem to remember some episodes of "Wrecked" and Joey figuring out how to get trucks unstuck from that underpass... Heheheee

So if it is 13'6" "exactly" does that mean you'll fit or no?
