Apparently you can add a custom "Point of Interest" file to the Rand McNally GPS that will help out with notifications and route planning.

Also, whenever your routing through chicago is questionable, or better yet during route planning, you can call to talk with a real human truck routing specialist. I do not know if it is 24 hours. If you are delivering late, call before it is last minute.

Does anyone know if the bridge on Irving Park road that carries 90/94 is really 13'5"? I always wondered about that one. If it really is why would it be on a major road like Irving Park? A state route no less.

Eastbound is signed as 13'5" (kind of hard to see in this google map image)
Westbound is 13'6" EXACTLY!!!! heheheehee
I seem to remember some episodes of "Wrecked" and Joey figuring out how to get trucks unstuck from that underpass... Heheheee
