I want to be the chicken light master.
I want to have a separate Bank of batteries, a separate generator, and a separate fuse box and wiring scematic, just for my chicken lights.
I want to have a chicken light suit so when I get out of the truck my pants my shirt my coat my shoes my hat all over my face my sunglasses, my buttocks, my underdrawers, dare I say even my belt buckle, will be Chicken Lights.
When I leave the toilet if you take a look down inside there you'll see a few dim Chicken Lights floating around...

Okay I had a little fun here but I'm going to stop now because I really don't want to hijack this gentleman's thread.
If anyone can help him with what he's asking for that would be great. That is one of the great things about this site is that we all do try to help each other out however we can and hopefully we can have a little laugh together too sometimes.
Everyone please be safe in your travels and have a good evening.Troy_, Rideandrepair, Vampire and 1 other person Thank this. -

Not knowing a lot about chicken lights, I think if I was going to go off the deep end with them, I'd get the state of the art one's I'm starting to see, that I believe are LED.
They use almost no energy and are programmable.
Or is that like considering a chicken light faux pas?
They look pretty bad ###.Flat Earth Trucker, Diesel Dave, Sirscrapntruckalot and 2 others Thank this. -
the normal color has a power and the 2nd color has a power. Most seem to like blue.....I ain’t so sure bout all that. Seems I heard one time what a blue light in a bar window means. Now if that’s your thing don’t let me hold you back more power to ya I say.
I put them on the tail board and tail lights of my new trailer. Only I went red/white. It turns night to day backing in a place now. I have a reverse light wire wired into the secondary pigtail. Pretty handy and really no forgetting to turn them back red
edit to add hows that for functionality.Last edited: Feb 7, 2022

The lights i used on my slack adjusters and cans (lol!) are 12v leds used for commercial business signs. They are what neon tubing was replaced with. They are bright. I’ve got a couple hundred feet strings of red i got used for free. I do wish I had them in other colors.

Wish they would make them out of heavier gauge wire. Lucky if you get 3 years out of them in the northeast before they break off at the ends

Do we have a "show us your chicken lights!" thread?
I mean we have one for dogs, cats...why not chicken lights?
