Well this 379 don't have enough lights for me. So I'm hooking up some chicken lights on the air cleaners and I have the spool of connectors I'm just curious how I'm going to get into the body for power? Do most people just drill the body and install a grommet?

Why not come through under the shift tower?

Yep. If you don’t want to go under the plate, just come thru the boot alongside the stick, then route on or under the flooring up to the firewall, then in behind the dash, or wherever you want to tap into electrical.
