Child support and truckers

I had a good arrangement with her, but her state decided to change things on their own.
Colorado.

I now pay nearly twice as much.
It doesn't really hurt me that much, but I have less to give her when she is in need.

The state agency can decide to re-evaluate the arrangement at any time, and there is nothing you can really do about that.

 

Please show me where I said there is no shared responsibility. If your standard of living rises , should not your child's as well? I stand by what I said, some of you so called fathers make me ashamed for father's everywhere. Shame on any man who goes out of his way not to support their child.

Alsooo if your a 1099 employee....justifiable write offs will lower your income which will lower your child support!

 

What are you talking about.. I didn't say quit working.. and for your information I pay my child support payment every month never late.. set up on auto payment.. so you better reply to the right person next time bud...

 

I have never been late and pay on auto pay.. and buy my daughter all her clothes and everything else.. so you have no tricking clue.

It's different in every state. Depends on the court ordered "agreement" in most states. It's called an "agreement" even though neither side actually agreed to it in most cases. The parent with custody always wants more, and the parent paying wants it to be less.

 

I think it goes by percentage.

 

My ex promised her new boyfriend that if he could help her get custody of my kids that she should be getting $80,000 a year in child support and I'd be forced to pay for her house and buy her a Hummer H2.
Needless to say she was in for a big disappointment since the kids live with me full time now.
The funny thing is her boyfriend had just gotten married 2 months before he hooked up with my ex and when his wife found out he was cheating on her he ended up losing his kids.
