if i was you--i wouldnt care what he supports his other family with
did he care what you supported yours with ?
and even 300 a month is a struggle to get out of him--that still leaves him 1800--gross
300 a month isnt a lot to support 2 little ones

yes he canmke it. Companies are fined now if they don't garnish the wages nation wide. You will get it and they have a nation wide locator service.

Not being mean but I put my daughter through college working 3 jobs student loans and she worked too. He was never in her life or even a birthday card either.

Thanks again, Twinket. Congrats on you and your daughter making it. It's not easy, and you're an amazing mother to do that. I hope I can be like you. I'm not trying to be greedy about the money. That's why I was trying to see if it was reasonable. At one time, I was working two jobs. My 9 to 5, and I was bartending at night. I don't mind working hard and making sacrifices. I would still be working like that, but 1- I am currently trying to get a car, and 2-I have a son with a disorder (he's been hospitalized 4 times in the last two years, about 2-3 weeks at a time)... he's on the upswing now, so I think that's over. I won't be down and out forever. As for college, both my kids are on honor roll right now. Hopefully, with that and the work ethic I'm trying so hard to give them, we'll have no problems getting them in.

    I say he's lying about the $2100/month.

I was making about that in '08 as a driver for an O/O.

Needless to say, I don't work for that man anymore.

I can easily gross that much in two weeks now and I'm no where near the top scale in pay.

if he is working hard--that is take home for 2 weeks--but then again he might be slacking off--to keep the child support low

I have two kids and paid a lot more in support and never questioned it. After my ex got married again her new husband didn't want a dime from me. So my "support" went into an account for each kid.

He is a dirt bag and needs to be treated like a dirt bag. They will suspend his CDL if he does not pay. His new wife can get a part-time job and make better than that.

Get the support you kids need.

I wish you and your kids all the best.

Thanks, BigBadBill! It's so nice to see that some dad's are good parents. I know yall are out there. What a great idea to put the money into an account. I bet that made it so much easier for your kids to go to college. I hope you got to have a relationship with them. It makes me so mad to see a Dad that steps up, only to get visits denied.

Unless he's running for a cheap outfit, he's making more than $2100 a month gross.

Nail him to the wall on this.

$300 a month?? Thats a joke!! If you triple that, you still dont get to what i was paying. This guys a dirt bag. Me being a former dirt bag, my guess would be, he did what I did. Make the 2 weeks before the court date light weeks. Turn down most loads. then "get sick" and take 4 days off. So the pay stubs that i took where low amount ones. So when the court made a judgement based on income, i'd cry and complain i'm getting screwed. But once i got outside the court, i'd jump for joy.
