11 years in march. Million+ clean miles. Zero issues passing a drug test. Background clean as well.

LTL here in San Antonio was never great, but once YRC fell down for the count none of them are hiring. Even the food delivery outfits stopped advertising. No need to mention Sysco. They are always hiring.

Walmart out of New Braunfels has no positions available either. HEB hasn't posted anything since last QTR.

Currently working for a private carrier (3k miles per week), but the pay/schedule isn't the best. A job yes, but I know my clean miles and experience are worth more.

Preferably would like to just be a company driver, but have looked into leases/truck payments with SFI, Lone Mountain, TEL and Parkway (HEB I/C division). Even gave the boys down in PHX a call lol. I'm not against going that route, but I'd prefer to not deal with keeping my junk rolling down the road on my dime.

Previous experience: 1 year reefer, 9 years dry van, final mile, specialized, local delivery you name it. I don't have any flatbed experience. Did do a year out in the oilfields with tanker work. I do not currently have my hazmat or doubles. Lead time on gaining those endorsements +100 days here in San Antonio.

The smaller the company the better. As long as its not a 1099 outside of a lease deal. Thank you for any info on companies I missed.
