The only reason I bought the Double Coins was because I kind of had my back against the wall and it was what I could afford. When the time comes to replace them, I'll be looking at what tire is best at the time, as I'll be in a better position to be more choosy.

This is actually a very difficult one to figure out.
A lot of American owned branded goods are manufactured in China.
These are now exported to the rest of the world.
These goods land in say Europe but are invoiced from America with the American owner of the brand paying the Chinese manufacturer a lesser amount.
the trade balances between countries are not always a true reflection of the reality.
The USA has a huge trade deficit with China but the truth is that it is not quite as bad as it seems as a lot of the money going out to China for goods imported comes back via the US corporations that own or contract these suppliers.
For the working class in the manufacturing industry it is bad.
For truckers not so much as the goods move round more. -
Majority of the components are Made in America. There built in the same factory I deliver to every night and majority of those components are made in America to.

Take it neither of you know how to take care of your tires....? There is nothing wrong with retreads, it all in knowing how to take care of them and finding a place to get them done correctly.
