California has a fairly new regulation that ANY carrier that has a terminal in Ca. must do a DOT audit every two years. They are making it very costly for carriers to have terminals there. Even carriers based in Ca. are relocating.drvrtech77, PoleCrusher and TennMan Thank this.

California put a regulation in effect on January 1st that states any trucking company it has an operation in California and has drivers based in that state must pay them for fueling must pay them for break time are there 30 minute break and also must pay them on their 10-hour break... No #### wonder why companies are leaving that state... Even abf and OD just levied a surcharge on all shipments coming in and out of that state so I would expect for that to follow
