So, I should change my po box to Cali?
-
Hey everyone. Been an ic on the west coast since they opened it out here. I specifically only run the west coast only. Western regional what ever you call it. You can do fine out here. Defined as up to 1500-1800 a week. Rates for schneider vs interstate are pretty much even. I have access to both boards plus landstars.
workingklasshero Thanks this. -
Any questions just ask. As long as its constructive and no bashing. Both company programs are good. For me its nice to know there are alternatives just in case things go south. Schneider also lost a 28.5 million dollar settlement against its employees in cali. Something to consider when assessing why they are leaving cali. One of many reasons why.
workingklasshero, Home_on_wheels, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Have a great day.

So is that 1500-1800 after your truck payment, fuel etc......and how often do you get home? You have access to Interstates load board, would you say rates are the same as well as quantity of loads available?
-
Thanks for the info. That's definitely good to hear from someone that's actually doing it and not people that occasionally get there and then get out.
-
Exactly, same thing I was thinking.
-
As frequency of getting home. Not as much as i used to. Usually do 6 days out 34 at home. Have about a year left to pay off my truck. Yes its from sni. 2014 evo with dd15. Rates are comparable between both companies.
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
As far as the midwest or north east i have no clue what its like to run out there. West coast is all i will ever run. Interstates footprint is not as big as schneiders as in the number of loads available. Rates are very equal. Customers are different and i dont see any overlap as far as customers go..
