It's one thing to do it in van, but tanker/bulk is a whole different story. Every tanker I know is running balls out.

@freightwipper sorry if my last post came across douchey. I wasn't trying to insult the van guys, it's just SNI seems to want to pay tanker guys van rates when it costs a lot of money for the equipment required and it pisses me off when companies treat the tanker yankers like we're worth less then what we're really worth.
drvrtech77 and TennMan Thank this. -
I'm only sticking with it because my wife makes more than I ever have. We were golden before this. Now she's just barely covering the bills.
I took a plane home 3 days for xmass but other than that I haven't been home. There's a couple loads going to within 150 miles of Atlanta every week but I'm never near them. So I been on the road for four months straight and still only taking home $200-$600. -
Schneider's tanks guys have starved for close to 20 years.....
You need to get a plan together and get out..... You can't pay for a truck with that kind of work.drvrtech77 and ChicagoJohn Thank this. -

Going back to my days were Schneider 17 years ago when Lofgren took over as CEO there was a lot of word going around that he was a jerk and for all intents and purposes it certainly looks like he's extremely greedy and I know people in the past owner operators with Sni told him off before...

Oh, he's a jerk all right. The only thing he's good at is corporate politics. Unfortunately he's very good at that.
