Honestly, I would seriously consider LTC. They have 2 terminals out of GA and a there's tons of tanker loads out of SC also. I really really liked what they offered, I was ready to go there when I got offered a dedicated run. (I'm actually considering then again since this dedicated run has been a giant cluster duck)

Could any current company drivers for bulk add more to this? I understand ICs barely being able to make their payments from what I've seen high truck payments and IC competition for the best load will leave many out hanging in the breeze....so how bad is it for company bulk drivers, I am thinking about going back, however if there are no loads and money is below 800 a week then forget it....any info would be appreciated....ty

Can you climb a ladder up to the top step...?

That's about the hardest part. The hoses are more technique. Then brute strength...

Necropost, but word of caution regarding the SFI trucks. If you look real careful at the spec sheets, you'll notice they have a rear end gear ratio of 2.47 They have no other options on that. It's worse than the company truck gearing.

I’m a Choice driver on the dry van side, and the gearing for heavy loads is a PITA. Myself, I don’t pull a lot of heavy loads, and almost never through the mountains, so it doesn’t bother me as much. But bulk is a different animal and this ^^^^ post is worthy of consideration.

Are you certain it's 2.47? Schneider gears everything 2.64 with some outliers here and there.
A 2.64 ratio is all about fuel economy.
