Ive already almost lost my life when my left wheels came up about 6 feet on top of the westbound span where the steel grate decking is (Not exactly a pleasent landing prospect standing on the fuel tank halfway out the door of a falling Semi being forced over the waist high steel raill on the right side over 220 feet of dead space above a cement water.

Storm front with gust bow arrived there before I got across empty. Bridge did not close in my face on the eastern shore... so.. who knows.

CBBT norfolk does a better job, as long Im 45000 and the winds are under 46, I'll take her and run it before they slam it at 50. Worse case scenario they hred me off on that pile of tunnel rock near that old eating place.

Way way back a long long time ago, either 88 or 89 and before I was 21. After the weekly euchre game on Wednesday night. me and Jon didn’t have to work the next day so we went to the liquor store and got a case of beer and 2 bottles of liquor and drove around ending up about 200 miles away in St Louis.
I was driving my 88 S-10 with the front end all beat up from hitting a tree outrunning the cops a few weeks or months earlier. Well anyways we’re going down a 3 or 4 lane street out there around 1 or 2 in the morning and there’s not another vehicle in sight.
There was a tall building on fire over on my left and we turn to check it out and cut off the cop that was in my blind spot.
He pulled us right over and I was standing outside talking to the cop knowing I was going to jail, well, Jon was over on the other side hiding the liquor in front of the rear tire, (we were out of beer) The cop asked him what he was doing and I dunno, something like what are the odds you stopped right next to these bottle.
He told us to get a hotel room and he didn’t want to see us again that night. And he let us keep the liquor.
We went to the first hotel we seen.

Wow. I drive through St Louis at least once a week. Maybe I should request "hazard" pay for driving through there.

    mjd4277 and x1Heavy Thank this.

    Combat pay.

I rather go through Hebron Westbank with full iron on the belt and under armor. That armor still hangs on the rack behind the desk in the closet.

The first part of the video that shows the trucks and flashes of light, you cant really tell what's happening.

I found another video with sound and the newscaster says 'they fired shots at the parked truck'....looks like 5 or 6 shots into the sleeper.

I wonder if that driver said something to them? ..like 'keep the noise down', or 'shut up' or who knows.....?

It’s mind boggling that more people are killed in Chicago and St Louis on any given day than service members in Afghanistan. Yes our service members in hostile territory are actually safer than some inner city US residents.
