Most of the trees are delivered down here in reefers.
My godfather brought a load down here for a seller a few times when he was running reefer in the early ‘90’s.

Here in Oregon , a lot of the tree farms use helicopters to snatch them up and put them in the bed of straight trucks, then they take them who knows where. It’s pretty wild to see choppers dangling Xmas trees. I wouldn’t think it would be cost effective, but some of these tree farms are on slopes only a mountain goat would like so getting a truck close to the trees is impossible.
Some of those straight trucks I’ve seen have got to be 15’ tall with trees, I guess Santa works for DOT. -
