Well my thoughts are with you ! And hope you are ok !
Christmas is the only holiday I will not work period and take at least a week off .

All my life, for some reason, my family always ate ham for Christmas dinner. Ham, mashed potatoes, filling, gravy, and all the other crap. Thanksgiving was always turkey.

Last year, my wife had surgery December 21st. She was in no shape to go anywhere Christmas day, and in no mood to cook. So it was on me.

Last year we had Salmon, asparagus, scallops, mashed taters, and store bought cheesecake for desert. My parents thought I was stone cold crazy for some reason. How dare I break tradition?

The kids are requesting I make Christmas dinner this year. And my family is coming to our house for dinner.

Guess I showed them

 

Nothing, except the love from my family.
As it should be.

What did you give?

Isn't the saying... - It is better to give than receive.

Or is Christmas now all about what one wants to get?

 

'the Christmas we get,we deserve',doesn't matter what $/£ you've got,the one thing you can give,just be a little kinder
