American Chopper is B.S. too. So much drama it's just has to be scripted. I worked for my dad and my uncle and yes there were arguments but not drama like that......B.S.

    Funny stuff right there!

The hook that came and got me and my T600 when the power divider busted was just a working truck like all the rest of us. The one that came and pulled me out of the ditch when I wrecked was pretty dolled up. And I've seen a lot of other fancy hooks. Tow biz must be real good. Some days I think I'm in the wrong business.

Yeah I wish I had pictures of the ones around here.

One guy from Little Rock had his tow rig done up on trick my truck. Burks and Mahoney has a few sweeeet 379 hooks and I think a 359. Tanners Wrecker and Crane here in my hometown has almost a fleet of black 379's. From hooks to lowboys and dovetails.

The hook that came picked me up, was actually a Burks & Mahoney. I was about 45 minutes from home. Never been towed with a regular truck fitted with a 5th wheel hook.

I saw a really pretty Autocar towtruck up at the Vince Lombardi in NJ. It was bright yellow, chromed out and must have been close to one of the last ones made. I think it was a 1989.

Their is one guy on here who owns Lockdown. He can explain whether they did engine work on his or not. Higherpower had a 550 Detroit. Jeff and Gail Gifford (Bonnie and Clyde) haul for Landstar.

My opinion is the new people doing the show seem to lean towards the work truck. Look at the Volvo VNL780 they just did.

There is a wrecker out of FT. Worth TX that has the words "Big Money" in gold leaf on the boom. Use to have a picture of it before my phone took a dump.
