You can also walk into a truck stop bathroom. Dispense some foamy antibacterial soap into the palm of your hands. Vigorously rub it into your eyes...won't be able to see for about 10 minutes, but boy will they be watery!

I suffered from dry eyes (the kind that would stick your eyelid to your eye, they were so dry).
Things I've found make them dry up:
alcoholic beverages, not drinking water, and the newest one, cpap air making its way from your throat to your lacrimal ducts.

I had a corneal injury, too, so woodyinva, I know that pain. Stay hydrated and keep oiling your eyes. Mine got better after years.

Come to think of it, my dry eyes started about the same time that I started on a c-pap in 2007.

You might try this thread, too. http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...sleep-apnea-cpap-problem.222684/#post-3483212

(My cpap mask sometimes leaks near the bridge of my nose, blowing air around my eyes, too. Others have noticed the same. There's also the air that escapes from the "vent", too. Maybe switching masks or options could help.)

Hello all! I'm a reporter working on a story for Time about chronic dry eye, and how it can affect people in their professional lives. I wanted to bump this thread to see if any of you felt like talking to me about this problem. Reply here, or message me, and we can find a time to talk. Thank you all!
