Church pastor killed during service

That just isn't right. So much for the "sanctity" of church.

 

Just leaves one speechless.

Where is the country headed?

 

A church I attended in the 1950s was robbed during the worship service. The deacons had collected the offering and set the full offering plates near the podium. During a prayer, a young man entered from a side door at the front of the sanctuary, picked up the plates and departed the way he came in. A few worshipers apparently did not have their eyes closed and heads bowed during the prayer. They followed the man and got his license number.

 

Now thats devotion. 7:00 am if you consider daylight savings time

 

When I lived in south Jersey I uaually went to the 8:30 AM service. I liked it because it was traditional, not contemporary like the one at 11:00 AM. Plus in the summer I could pick up a hoagie at Wawa and head straight to the shore afterwards. Or pick up a cup of Wawa coffee and the NY Times and head back to bed.
