I hauled a few aluminum coil loads that were banded to pallets in a dry van, you drive accordingly, give yourself room and drive like you have no brakes, easy peasy.
Last Call Thanks this. -
For awhile there I thought it might be a reincarnation of @IluvCATS... LOL.
I get a mental image of “Cats” holed up in a bunker out in the middle of some desert, trying to boot up a janky old laptop off of a car battery, just so he can start one more thread about something stupid.gentleroger and Last Call Thank this. -
I wonder if his trainer ever got his sanity back ? Or if he was scared for lifeKyle G. Thanks this.

I have no idea, as outside of the mods I don't know who owns/maintains/profits from the site or how engagement in the forum impacts revenue.
But I know it is/was a common tactic for message boards/social media for an interested party to post threads that are sure to get replies and or keep the forum focused in a certain direction.
The poster has a decent knowledge of trucking in that he knows what questions to ask and how to ask them to generate replies. He's got a decent level of intelligence and is fairly articulate. Together that indicates he should already have experienced most of his questions long before this, so why make the threads? Who benifits? From my perspective the site - either in increased traffic or creating a more welcoming environment for real new drivers with questions.
To be clear, I have no problem with this as a strategy/gambit/whatever. Just making an observation.Kyle G. Thanks this. -
I know I've said this before but the people who find another member offensive can report his activities to the staff. If rules have been broken somebody on staff will address the issues.
In the meantime, if somebody irritates you, put them on IGNORE.
Or, knowing that the post is liable to piss you off, just scroll on past and save yourself the aggravation.
The members here who keep reading posts by people they don't like and getting angry about it remind me of someone who beats their head against the wall thinking pain is a cure for boredomd o g, buddyd157, expedite_it and 2 others Thank this. -

You're certainly entitled to your opinion but casting aspersions on the owners and staff, especially when they're not warranted, is never a good idea.Savor the Flavor and expedite_it Thank this.

I will reiterate my last sentence "To be clear, I have no problem with this as a strategy/gambit/whatever. Just making an observation."
I did not intend to, nor do I believe I did impun anyone's integrity. If I offended you, I apologize.Jubal Early Times and Kyle G. Thank this.
