Class A CDL but I'm only 18

    I want to obtain a class A cdl but in order to get go to school I need 3 pre hire letters I'm from fayettevile NC. Can I get some help

    Consider this.

    Im only in my mid 50's and have had a lifetime with it.

    Your only can be helped, and most certainly resolved if thats what you really want in life. Make sure it's not I WANNA DRIVE A BIG RIG versus I WANNA ROLL AMERICA with my life. There is a difference.

    I say one more thing to encourage you...

    Patience Grasshopper.

    It is good that Grasshoppers don't have the mind to know that they are just Grasshoppers.

    If you get to know Patience, you will live a thousand lifetimes with a CDL.

    Most places won't enroll you until you turn 21.

    You will be limited to intrastate. You might try local construction, or food service companies.

    In otherwords a sand box with borders. Hopefully it's either Montana or Texas. Be a real state, instead of a ########### little box in the east coast.

    I have the opportunity to get a scholarship to get my CDL license but in order to receive the scholarship I need 3 pre hire letters

    Try household goods movers. Some of those hire 18 year old drivers. Google: household goods movers ( in your area).
    Some agricultural companies such as Co-op and other similar companies hire 18 yrs. old cdl drivers to deliver chemicals, seed, etc. and to spray fields.
    I've seen these type ads in Texas and Nebraska, so other states probably have the same.
